A team Betty Sydney Memorial Arial Cake Targeting competition was the attraction last weekend.  The Club hosted the applicants of the Chris Middlebrook Flying Scholarship to a BBQ lunch followed by a very serious competition.

Air Ambulance interupts the fun

We were joined by a number of prospective pilots who enthusiastically took part in the competition.  Captain Sam briefed the assembled throng with all being left in little doubt what was expected.  Experienced pilots circuited the airstrip with their guests making some very minor command decisions.

The judges performed admirably and no discussion about results was entered into because we still don’t know the official version!  I am reliably told that for a fee information “might” be forthcoming but as has oftern been said, don’t let the result get in the way of fun.
